This custom configuration of our popular 290® model is a nod to a certain British rock star that popularized the unusual combination of a Charlie Christian neck and Dog Ear P90 bridge pickup with his performance at a 1972 concert at Madison Square Garden. Combining a punchy and bright P90 with the rich and warm CC style pickup allows this guitar to cover almost any sonic ground, from rock n’ roll to jazz. Now this combination is available for all of us “Jealous Guys” on a 290!
